What to expect
After the lines, it can be rewarding to look at something at eye level. Cahuachi is about buildings of adobe, unfired earth brick, rather than geoglyphs. Have someone explain the shapes and what research has revealed; otherwise your photograph may mostly show a sand-coloured hill.
How it fits into a journey
Start from Nazca and give Cahuachi its own visit block. It is not beside Paracas, despite sharing a coastal-region section on this site.
