About Perutrip

Perutrip helps you put together a journey through Peru, from cities and regions to transport, places to stay and stops along the way.

Perutrip is founded by Edwin van Leeuwen. He spent seven months travelling through Peru with three friends in 2005–2006, then returned for five weeks with his family in 2025. Those trips, contacts in Peru and further research inform the guides and stories on this site.
