What to expect
Day one: arrive in Tarapoto and spend time in town. Day two: choose Lamas or Ahuashiyacu rather than making both compulsory. Day three: travel to Moyobamba. Day four: a prearranged Waqanki visit or another chosen nature activity. Day five is for departure or return to Tarapoto. Add a day if you want both Tarapoto outings.
How it fits into a journey
Two nights per base is a suggestion. Put the last night in Tarapoto if that fits the flight better.
