What to expect
Day 1: arrive in Puno and finalise boat and host arrangements. Day 2: your booked crossing to Amantaní and the agreed stay. Day 3: return to Puno, without another compulsory visit. This is a framework for organising bookings; move days when your host or transport requires a different plan.
How it fits into a journey
Start and finish in Puno. Book the next long journey separately from the island return. Arrival travel to Puno and onward travel to Cusco or Arequipa sit outside this local allocation.
